Headlight restoration is a professional exterior lens service for plastic headlights that have become foggy, cloudy, yellow, dull, faded or oxidized. Sun exposure, weather, road contamination and normal wear gradually damage the original protective surface of the lens. How Long Does the Service Take?
Most standard headlight restoration appointments take approximately 45–90 minutes. The vehicle should be parked in a safe working area. Access to a nearby electrical outlet and a driveway, garage or suitable parking space is preferred.
What Headlight Restoration Cannot Repair
This service restores damage on the outside surface of the plastic lens. It does not repair burned-out bulbs, wiring, broken mounting points, internal reflector damage, water leaks, condensation inside the housing, deep structural cracks or severe internal deterioration.
Some lenses also develop deep crazing or permanent damage within the plastic. In those cases, restoration may improve the appearance but cannot always produce a perfect or factory-new result. You will receive an honest assessment before work begins.
